At its peak, the Minth University of Science and Technology boasted more than 300 faculty and staff members as well as more than 10,000 students. Declining birth rates and the poor reputation of vocational schools however meant there were now just a little over seven hundred students left. Many of the faculty and staff members lost their jobs as well. My father is a tier-1 manager in this school, which is on the verge of closing down. What difficulties are he facing? And what made him decide to continue fighting on in the workplace?
