Taking the Taiwan-Hwa Ferry to visit grandfather's home on Penghu Island used to be a yearly routine for the director during her childhood. Several years ago, after her grandfather passed away, this routine came to an end. Now, the aging Taiwan-Hwa Ferry is about to retire. During its last few voyages, the director attempts to rediscover memories scattered in various places – some still intact, while others have faded away.
Where will the Taiwan-Hwa Ferry go after retirement, and what will be left behind?
