Due to the pandemic, many people are forced to stay in their homes, unable to go out, living a simple and confined life. However, for the Wu family, such a life is nothing out of the ordinary. I-Hsin and I-No, a sister and brother with a rare disease, could face the end of their lives at any moment; they are cared for by their parents, who have a close yet distant relationship because of their responsibilities as caretakers. Day and night, they are an integral part of one another’s lives. Day and night, they live with death itself. When death is no longer the elephant in the room, every ordinary moment is a beautiful one.
