An Island Boy_Frankie Sin
On Cheung Chau, an outlying island south of Hong Kong, 20-year-old Po steps into his father’s shoes to become a fisherman. Friction constantly arises between father and son due to their contrasting values on fishing, yet they are bound together by the long, unavoidable hours spent on the same boat. Six years pass. Po’s father grows older, Po gets married and welcomes a child—assuming the dual roles of father and husband. These shifting identities force Po to confront a whole new set of responsibilities.
