Lina, from Indonesia, became the staff at a migrant worker shelter because of her fluent Mandarin, assisting Indonesian migrant workers with communication with the Taiwanese system. In assisting migrant workers, Lina witnessed the high risk of sexual harassment and assault faced by female migrant workers. Some, under pressure, simply chose to change employers to leave, while others persisted in filing charges. Regardless of their choice, Lina stood by them.
